RISD Chessboard
As a response to a site-specific project assignment, I created a satirical chess board located in front of RISD's admission building to question the merchandise that schools sell to new and aspiring students.

Rook - Based on the RISD Whale
Knights - Based on pillars around campus
First Bishop - The first letter of of RISD
Queen - The second letter of of RISD
King - The third letter of of RISD
Second Bishop - The last letter of of RISD

Table and Board
A table stand designed to hold the chessboard at the height of the chairs dispersed across the lawn in front of the admissions building.

Color Scheme
Uses RISD's Iconic Blue to match the chairs the piece sits between, along with white as a neutral color.
